    25-35 Day Production

Heavyweight construction takes slightly longer than basic tees. Standard 25–35 days from PP-sample approval. Express tracks available for drop launches.

    AQL 2.5 Streetwear-Calibrated QC

Streetwear tees are scrutinised by enthusiast buyers — drop-shoulder placement, boxy proportion, neck-binding hand-feel, garment-dye consistency. We calibrate AQL to catch streetwear-specific defects.

    Direct Export from India

IEC-registered. FOB Mundra / Nhava Sheva, CIF, or DDP. Optimised carton packing for heavyweight tees. Drop-launch coordination across multiple regions in parallel.

Why "oversized" is a manufacturing discipline, not just a size

Most apparel manufacturers will scale up their regular tee patterns by 2–3 sizes and call it "oversized." That's not what streetwear buyers want. True oversized construction requires a different pattern block — not just a wider chest, but a shorter shoulder-to-shoulder dimension, an intentional armhole drop, a longer body length, and a different neck-binding proportion. Get any of these wrong and the tee looks ill-fitting rather than intentionally oversized.

Vriddhi Enterprises has invested in dedicated oversized pattern blocks across three silhouettes — boxy oversized (squared-off, wider than long), true oversized (3–5 cm wider than the regular chest, with a deliberate drop-shoulder), and longline oversized (extra body length for the streetwear longline aesthetic). Tell us your reference brand and target silhouette, and we'll match the pattern block precisely.

Heavyweight fabric — the streetwear differentiator

Premium streetwear oversized tees use 220–260 GSM heavyweight cotton, not the 160–180 GSM lightweight cotton common in fast-fashion oversized tees. Heavyweight cotton drapes differently — it hangs from the shoulder line in a way that creates the architectural silhouette streetwear customers pay for. It also carries decoration better (puff print, garment dye, acid wash all look better on heavyweight) and survives more wash cycles without losing shape.

For garment-dyed and pigment-dyed oversized tees, we use PFD (Prepared For Dye) cotton — the tee is constructed first, then dyed as a finished garment. This gives the soft, lived-in, vintage hand-feel that premium streetwear brands like Vintage Stock or Comfort Colors are known for. The colour also fades beautifully over time — a feature, not a bug, for streetwear positioning.

Decoration for oversized tees — what works at scale

Oversized tees give you a larger printable canvas — most premium streetwear uses oversized chest graphics (10–15 cm tall) and full back-panel prints. We run HD plastisol for vibrant graphics, water-based discharge for soft-hand prints (the print disappears into the fabric — feels like the design is woven in), and 3D puff print for raised graphics. AOP (all-over print) is available through a dedicated partner for orders of 500+ per design.

For drop launches and collab releases, we coordinate parallel multi-region dispatch — producing the entire run in one cycle, then splitting the shipment across air freight (urgent regions) and sea freight (planned regions) so that all global drops land within the same 48-hour window. This is the manufacturing logistics premium streetwear brands need.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between boxy fit, oversized and drop-shoulder?

They are three different specifications and buyers routinely conflate them, which is how a tech pack ends up producing a garment nobody wanted. Boxy is a proportion: the body is widened relative to its length, so the garment reads close to square — often with the length shortened rather than the chest simply enlarged. Drop-shoulder is a seam placement: the shoulder seam is deliberately moved down the arm past the natural shoulder point, with a correspondingly deeper armhole. Oversized is overall scale: chest, length and sleeve all grown against a standard block. They combine independently — a cropped boxy tee is boxy without being oversized, and a longline oversized tee is oversized without being boxy. Tell us which of the three you actually want, or send a reference garment, and we will spec it properly rather than guess from the word.

Can I buy oversized tees wholesale for resale?

Yes. We supply oversized and drop-shoulder tees to wholesalers, multi-brand retailers and online sellers as well as to D2C labels, including plain blanks for buyers who print their own. Per-piece rates by quantity slab, packed to your size ratio, with assorted colours within a style. Oversized cuts run large by design, so we will confirm the measurement chart with you before bulk cutting.

What exactly does 'oversized' mean — how is it measured?

Oversized has three flavours: (1) Boxy oversized — wider than long, body width is about equal to body length, gives the boxy streetwear look. (2) True oversized — 3–5cm wider than a regular tee at the chest, with intentional drop-shoulder (armhole 2–4cm below the natural shoulder point). (3) Longline oversized — wider AND longer than a regular tee, with a longer body for the streetwear longline aesthetic. Tell us which one you want, or send us a reference brand and we'll match the construction.

What's the difference between a heavyweight tee and a regular tee?

GSM (grams per square metre) is the measure. Regular tees are 160–180 GSM. Heavyweight oversized tees use 220–260 GSM — that's ~40% more cotton per square metre. The fabric drapes more architecturally from the shoulder, holds decoration better, and survives more washes. Premium streetwear brands (Fear of God Essentials, Aimé Leon Dore) all use heavyweight cotton.

Can you do garment-dyed oversized tees with the vintage look?

Yes — garment dye is one of our specialities. We construct the tee in PFD (Prepared For Dye) cotton first, then dye as a finished garment. The result has the soft, lived-in, vintage hand-feel that premium streetwear brands are known for. Pigment dye gives an even more sun-faded look. Both add 5–7 days to the production timeline.

Do you do acid wash, stone wash, and tie-dye on oversized tees?

Yes — all garment-finishing techniques are available. Acid wash gives the pale, blotchy fade look. Stone wash gives a softer, faded vintage feel. Tie-dye is available in custom colour combinations (we send a swatch for approval before bulk). Each adds 3–7 days to production. Discuss the finish upfront so we plan the workflow.

Can you do 3D puff print on oversized tees?

Yes. 3D puff print uses a foam underlay that raises the print 2–3mm above the fabric surface — the signature streetwear chest-logo look. Works best on solid-colour heavyweight cotton. We send a print-out for approval before bulk. Roughly 1.5–2× the cost of standard plastisol print per piece.

What's the MOQ for oversized streetwear tees?

300 pieces per design / colour for export, 500 for domestic. For drop launches and capsule collections, this is intentionally low to let D2C streetwear brands test new graphics without overcommitting. Most large Indian manufacturers won't do oversized tees below 1,000 MOQ.

How fast can you deliver for a drop launch?

25–35 days from PP-sample approval and PO for 300–2,000 unit runs. Express 18–22 day track available for urgent drop launches. For parallel multi-region drops (US + EU + AUS landing same week), we coordinate split-shipment via air + sea freight so all regions receive within a 48-hour window.

Can you match a specific reference brand's oversized fit?

Yes. Send us a sample tee (or detailed photos with measurements) — we'll reverse-engineer the pattern block and match the GSM, fabric quality, construction, and decoration. We give you an honest assessment if a reference spec is out of reach at your target price, and propose the closest achievable match. This is how we work with most premium streetwear D2C brands.
